UNIVERSES Poetic Musical Theater Ensemble

UNIVERSESis a National Organization dedicated to the creation, development, production, touring, community engagement and educational dissemination of new theatrical and performance works for the stage. It supports artists within and outside of its core company, to foster artistic excellence in American Theater. Its core company consists of a revolving and evolving set of multi-disciplined writers and performers who fuse Poetry, Theater, Music, and Dance, to bring American voices to life through moving, challenging and entertaining theatrical works. The core group breaks the bounds of traditional theater to create their unique brand, inviting old and new generations of theater crafters as well as the theatergoers and newcomers to envision a greater American Theater.

UNIVERSES is already celebrating our 25th Anniversary leading into 2020!
This has been no easy feat. 25 Years of poetry, music and theater, social justice, education, mentorship, personal sacrifices, collaborative, courageous art makers, hustle & flow. 25 years of making the thing that needs to be made, when at times, the industry you are trying to make it in, refuses, is reluctant, afraid, or willing... but broke. 25 years, a nomadic freelance company, making every city, every institution they rest their head in, their home.

Join in the celebration by donating $25 or $250 or $2,500, is $25,000 (Because, hey, in 25 years, we've perfected the art of dreaming.) We know, that Giving Tuesday (a global day of giving that kicks off the charitable holiday season), is on November 28th. We are also well aware that it's only June, so let the sun shine in on this celebration every day or every Tuesday 'til then if you'd like.

We have 2 projects on the burner and need your help. Your donation today will help support the completion of our PARTY PEOPLE cast album (already 90% complete), and help us relaunch/expand our LIVING-ROOM Series (community links - Puerto Rico & US).
