About

"Untitled Environmental Documentary" is an investigatory documentary thriller that reveals unreported environmental justice issues in Texas. The project is directed by award-winning filmmaker Michael Rowley (Hurdle 2019, Praying for Armageddon 2023, Racing Mister Fahrenheit 2024) whose work focuses on themes of justice, human connectivity, and harrowing circumstances. Rowley's voice has earned him a spot on DOC NYC's "40 Under 40" list of notable documentary filmmakers, the Austin Film Society's North Texas Pioneer film grant three times, and five film festival jury awards. His work has been broadcast internationally by the BBC, Arte, SundanceNow, and Al Jazeera. The documentary will be a powerful and emotive story that focuses on revealing unreported information and shining a light on injustice. Due to the sensitive nature of this project, specific characters and plot lines cannot be published publicly until release of the film or within a confidential setting. The film will be widely released to the public upon completion.
