Voluminous Arts creates space for trans people to explore expansiveness and agency through music, sound, conversation, and experimental art. This entirely trans-led organization operates a record label and a community resource hub, and provides employment to trans people in a respectful environment.
Built on a foundation on mentorship, increased access to resources and community building, our programs nurture the connections between gender experiences that refuse to be put in a box and experimental creative works that challenge existing forms.
Voluminous Arts was founded in 2020 by interdisciplinary artist Gavilán Rayna Russom and is currently based in Glendale, Queens.
