ARTIST BACKGROUND
In 2022, I battled triple-negative breast cancer, a rare and aggressive form. By the end of the year, I was considered in remission. On May 1, 2023, I launched the Warrior Women Portrait Experience to give back to the community that walked alongside me. In August 2024, I learned my cancer had metastasized to my lungs and lymphatic system. With a shortened lifespan, these sessions are now not just a project—but a life legacy. As of today, I have already photographed 75 incredible warriors, each one adding to a growing body of work that celebrates courage, resilience, and beauty.
PROJECT GOALS (2025–2026)
Portrait Sessions – Travel to major U.S. cities to photograph hundreds more women who have had a cancer diagnosis. Warrior Coffee Table Book – Compile portraits and stories into a published book, preserving these legacies for families, communities, and future generations.
WHY NOW
With a prognosis of just two years on average, time is of the essence. Every session matters. Each woman’s story deserves to be captured before it’s too late—for them, and for me. USE OF FUNDS Travel & lodging to significant cities Session costs (studio rental, equipment, printing, styling) Book design, editing, and publishing
COMMUNITY IMPACT
Empower cancer warriors through portrait sessions. Create a visible, lasting tribute in print. Foster awareness and community support, leave behind a living legacy of courage and beauty through fiscal sponsorship. I can raise tax-deductible donations from individuals, organizations, and businesses to bring this project to life. Together, we can ensure the Warrior Women Nation Portrait Experience reaches as many lives as possible.
