Who’s The We? follows pastor and activist Doug Pagitt as he leads a small group on a 66-day bicycle journey tracing the length of the U.S.–Mexico border and beyond. Riding 50 to 60 miles a day, the group encounters migrants, aid workers, and those who see the border very differently, revealing the human realities behind a deeply polarized issue. As competing visions of nationhood collide, the film asks a central question: who belongs—and who’s the “we” in We the People?
