Why Is Design So White? is a multimedia traveling exhibition and accountability framework that exposes the racial construction of the Western design canon and recovers ancestral aesthetics as living systems. Through ten immersive environments, a companion manuscript, and the Design Liberation Index™, the project equips institutions and communities to measure and dismantle design inequity. It travels to museums and universities, accompanied by free public workshops, lectures, and institutional audits.
