Wisdom Arts Laboratory

Wisdom Arts Laboratory is a vehicle for outreach and collaboration. 

Abira Ali is the director of Wisdom Arts Laboratory (WAL). She is a visual artist who has been collaborating with other artists through WAL since 2009. 

At Wisdom Arts Laboratory we facilitate art events accessible to diverse levels of skill and knowledge. Our programs allow for multigenerational participation, from both professional artists and novice enthusiasts. We create opportunities for all ages of people to experience the making process. 

The Wisdom Arts Laboratory community of artists include: Gordon Henderson, Carol Caplon, Casper Bryant, Stacy Dawson-Stearns, Kindred Gottlieb, and many others. WAL is a vehicle for us to share our practices through art making events, concerts, presentations, fashion shows, storytelling and print.  Wisdom Arts Laboratory empowers community by creating a safe space to explore imagination.
