We intend to retranslate Shakespeare's original intent by staging a modern adaptation of Tina Packer’s Women of Will in an immersive, accessible pub setting that removes the traditional barriers of "high art". As an homage to the late visionary Tina Packer, the production utilizes a cross-generational dialogue between an aging actor and a young bartender to explore the evolution of Shakespeare's heroines. Our goal is to reclaim the populist spirit of the theatre, making these extraordinary roles visceral and relatable to audiences of all backgrounds today.
