We have two immediate projects for this year: the Fairfax County Youth Poetry Ambassador Project and an in-person, live-streamed interview series with professional poets. The first project will recognize a local high school poet, with the help of teacher sponsors and a contracted professional poet who will judge the submissions. The second project involves traveling to different areas to host interviews/workshops with local poets and visiting schools to facilitate poetry lessons, all while ensuring all activities are free for students.
