Youth Theater Collective (YTC): Access + Leadership is an arts education and youth leadership project that uses student-led theater production as training in communication, collaboration, accountability, and creative agency.
Operating at the intersection of arts education and leadership development, YTC positions young people not only as performers, but as collaborators and leaders across performance, technical theater, and operations. Students work within clearly structured, safety-forward systems that support real responsibility, shared decision-making, and public-facing outcomes.
YTC works through access-based cohorts, school and community partnerships, and production labs designed to expand participation in high-quality theater experiences for middle and high school–aged youth. Programming emphasizes process-based learning, equitable assessment, and transferable leadership skills that extend beyond the arts.
Youth Theater Collective is a fiscally sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations support student access, teaching artist and facilitator compensation, production materials, and professionally structured, public-facing performances that serve as proof of concept for scalable youth leadership programming.
