I write plays to reconnect audiences with the Earth, and the wild thing inside all of us. I write to hear women in mythological, historical, and canonical texts tell their own stories, in their own voices. Much of my writing is guided by Janice Lee's question, "Draw a monster. Why is it a monster?"
