We envision a thriving ecosystem where Black LGBTQIA+ stories are preserved, celebrated, and bountiful. We envision a world where storytellers are equitably resourced, widely recognized, and easily able to share their work freely and expansively across film, television, and theatre.
Foreground will introduce audiences to the rich legacy of Black LGBTQIA+ storytelling across film, television, and theatre, while contributing to preservation of these works through digital tools and archival initiatives. We amplify the next generation of Black LGBTQIA+ storytellers by providing platforms and resources to share new narratives that reflect our history, present, and future.
