The Golden Gate Atelier offers classical training for the professional realist artist. Students draw and paint the human figure from life; they learn artistic anatomy, pictorial composition, art history, and humanities.
The Golden Gate Atelier challenges students to make meaningful images for our time, to bring the classical tradition into the modern world and make it their own. The Golden Gate Atelier has established a scholarship fund so talented students of all backgrounds can receive classical training. We welcome contributions to this fund.
