Tech Bettys is the product of actor/writers Mary McGloin and Amanda Van Nostrand. It is a comedic webseries created by women, for women, in any industry who suffer the realities of working in a male dominated workplace.
Tech Bettys Is Committed To:
• Expanding our opportunities and offer opportunities for more women to work in film and television.
• Exposing (in a humorous way) the nuances of navigating life in a male dominated workplace.
• Engaging viewers in a socially relevant conversation through a high quality, well told story.
Through the lens of a tech start-up, Tech Bettys will produce a socially relevant and funny webseries that will move forward the conversation of creating more equity between men and women in the workplace. We will provide an environment where all participants, but especially women, will be encouraged and supported to excel, take risks, and grow professionally. We can be counted on to be talented, funny, endearing, passionate and committed to bringing this to the screen in a way that engages our audience.
On a societal level, the goal with Tech Bettys is to create a socially relevant and funny webseries that inspires conversation that promotes equity between men and women in the workplace. On a personal level, the goal is to get Tech Bettys out into the world and garner recognition for our abilities as writers, creators, actors, and producers.
