Meravelha intends to continue presenting live concert performances in the New England area several times a year, using local musicians from the early music scene. We create our own concert programs based on a chosen theme, using existing transcriptions of medieval music or creating our own from original manuscript sources. Through our performance and supporting materials, we provide insight into the arts and culture of the Middle Ages and how they relate to and inform our current era.
